Bankrate surveyed the following 20 brokerages to find out how much they pay on their automatic sweep accounts and also on the money market funds that excess cash can be swept into. The survey was conducted between March 28 and April 4, and the yields are as of those dates. The research was done by Heather Kuhn, Deborah Carrick and Mike Calderone.
